Reviews

A true story written bravely by Cathy Broomfield. If I could not read anything so sad again, I would be quite content. This book haunted me. Sometimes reading a sad true story leaves you feeling devastated for the pain this family endured. Sometimes it can make us feel that our own problems are not so bad.”
Karen Murphy (Reviewer)

“Bleak and haunting this is a sad tale of the aftermath of murder and the ripples it causes over the years. Cathy Broomfield should never have had to write this book, the death of her daughters was tragic.”
Julianne Freer (Reviewer)

“A heartbreakingly honest novel of loss and grief.”
Kate Ellis (Reviewer)

“Such a sad recollection from a brave mother. I commend the bravery and strength of this family. A book I read in one sitting.”
Clare Matthews (Reviewer)

“A harrowing tale that had to be told… it kept me hooked immediately.”

I got a good few years with her, then it stopped. I have not seen her for over two years now. Its like a bereavement but she is still alive. I lnow how i feel. Cathy must be going through so much more and for jer daughter to die of a broken heart!. This world is so cruel but rise above it. 32. I read this book and cried floods of tears what this lady and her Daugthers have gone through is unimaginable, you Cathy are truly a remarkable woman,God bless you

  33. This book is a well written account on how life has to go on when you lose a child (of any age), how such an horrendous event affects the whole family, and the devastating journey of the family being unable to prevent the dire consequences for each other. We know that after a murder in the family life will never be the same again, but this book outlines just how much that is the case. There are moments of pure anger, moments of sadness, of weakness and of strength. It gives an insight, but nothing can make us fully understand how this family feels. Cathy is remarkable, of that there is no doubt.

  34. I am going to order the book stay strongCATHY
