  26. It’s PANTs or so the authors dub it. Personally I thought it was really creative, entertaining, and stands out for its originality. Rather than go with the crowd and write a regular business/career guide this try’s something very different. And it succeeds. I loved you could laugh and learn. Be engaged and at the same time asks questions about your career path. Great book!

Lots to like in here. From the story, to the blink summaries, and the real life case studies. Strongly rceommended.

  34. Extraordinary book. Something with great ambition. Reinventing a genre. I applaud that.

    Its fun and informative.

    Well worth the investment.

  35. Bit biased as I know the author(s). They are good people. And this is really a worthwhile project. Something that I think transcends my bias. Everyone I’ve discussed dit with says the same thing “What a wonderful pleasant and memorable book!”

    Go read it now!

    and then vote for it!

  36. A Groundhog Day reimagined as a career advice fable!

Plus of course some really sage advice and thinking exercises.

But what makes this book is the really upbeat and fun attitude. It’s just very uplifting!

    A joy

  37. These guys seem to have fun with it. I like that. It’s an important subject. Tackling the problem statement ‘how do you help an audience who don’t naturally engage with career advice to give it a try.’

    It’s really good. Extremely imaginative.

    10/10

  38. Witty, entertaining, and profoundly thought provoking.

In an increasingly superficial world, thumbing a nose at binary stereotypes, and encouraging self discovery, this is heart warming and story. It is also a great guide for professional how may feel they have become trapped in a hamster wheel of corporate busy-ness.

    Refreshing.

  39. I’m a personal trainer and a client suggested I read this. I loved it. Some of the jokes were very funny. But it was the life lesson that stayed with me. Very very memorable.

  40. I lobe Bill Murray in the movie. I almost love this retelling more. I think you could read this just for fun. It is a career advice book. But it isn’t heavy. It’s a fun story and as a bonus it makes you rethink whether you’ve got a bit lost in your professional goals. Very good.

  41. What unexpected shenanigans. But wise. Using that groundhog life parable. Day after day, you show up, do the work, and keep going. It feels the same, because, it is. At what’s it all for? Why do you persevere? Questions we don’t ask ourselves often enough.

  42. An excellent, thought provoking, stimulating and well written work. Highly recommendable.

  43. An original and thought provoking book that actually helps you think differently.

  44. Groundhog Career beautifully highlights how many of us get stuck in repetitive work patterns, and inspires us to break free and pursue more meaningful growth.

  45. This book is more than a story. It’s a manual for anyone lost in today’s fast-changing workplace and definitely a must-read for career coaches and HR professionals.

  46. Just a very funny book by two eccentric but very clever people. Left me entertained and with some very good questions about my own career.

  50. What an unexpectedly wonderful book. Honestly not what I was expecting. The authors have created something unique. And the cover… well it’s glorious. It complete jumps out at you. This book you can judge by its cover!

  51. Wow, what a great book. I think I say that in large part because I enjoyed it despite it being a business/leadership book. Too often those are like a visit to the dentist. But this was genuinely fun. Really happy to support them in this competition.

  52. And one of the authors plays golf! What’s not to like!

  53. Creative take on an important subject, especially timely for today’s labor/career market.

  54. We have to work but does it always have to be painful? Must we sacrifice to earn a wage and create a good life? Such critical questions that too often we ignore.

  55. Books that discusses career and professional dimension seldom are this light and enjoyable to read yet leaves a lasting impact to reflect on their career journey and enable themselves to architect in their own terms.
A very interesting and a must read book, definitely an add-on to my library
