A different read from my usual but getting into the background and characters overall enjoyable and thought-provoking. Very well written Rebecca.
A really interesting and well written book which is hard to put down. The reader becomes involved in Cait the heroine’s adventures for the battle for freedom and the attempt to overthrow the powerful government.

Great writing in this book, would highly recommend!
Coming from Scotland and loving fantasy, it was wonderful to immerse myself in a world that felt like home but more magical, brilliant writing and a gripping story with characters that jump out of the page from start to end.
Great book 10 out of 10, highly recommend this page turner.
I piched up a copy from the author at the Angus Book Fest last weekend so have only dipped into it, as yet. very impressed so far.
great story once your are into it you can not put it down
I absolutely loved Song of the Stag! The deep dive into Scottish lore was both captivating and enriching, and I couldn’t get enough of the beautifully crafted world and characters. Beyond the thrilling story, I truly appreciated the allegory for independence—it added a powerful layer to the narrative and resonated deeply with me as advocates for Scotland’s independence . A must-read for anyone who loves Scotland’s rich history and a gripping tale of resistance and identity.
Loving it. The fantasy world (based on Scotland ?) is a lovely work of fiction with a touch of magic thrown in. Recommended.
