Fantastic book — highly recommended.
I am always eager to read Maggie Ritchie’s work. Her delicate writing transposes you to another world, with meticulous attention to the period’s detail, but more importantly into the mind of her characters. She’s a delight to read and I highly recommend her work to everyone.
It’s set in Cold War Scotland and the action switches effectively from the East Neuk of Fife to Edinburgh and to the Highlands as the tale twists deliciously with a range of characters who keep us guessing. What are they really up to.
The dialogue sparkles and flows, the history of the period is explained with care and the carefully-crafted guessing game devised by the author continues to the final pages. A thrilling spy story.
A great read.

From the first page I loved White Raven. A superb read. Five stars.
A page turner. You don’t know what’s going to happen next, but you are taken on a wonderful journey through Scotland and transported into a different time.
Incredible, wonderful team.
