Witness the thrill, spills and very close encounters of our narrator, Custer, as he charts the progress of a testosterone-fuelled, amateur soccer team from Dublin (of which he is a guest member) on a two-week rampage-pilgrimage to the East Coast USA in the fall of 1982.

Having spent a career writing and working in the financial services industry, the Irish author has created this fictionalised account of his visit to the USA in 1982, as a guest member of a Dublin amateur soccer team playing exhibition games against selected colleges and universities across New England.

This book contains a sting I was not expecting, as the narrator – “Custer”, is propelled with a massive G-Force into a possible life ending situation. Karl Walsh, Amazon.co.uk
