Authors Biography

Claudia Hammond is an award-winning writer and broadcaster. She is Visiting Professor of the Public Understanding of Psychology at the University of Sussex and is the presenter of BBC Radio 4’s All in the Mind. She has been awarded the President’s Medal among other awards and is the author of Emotional Rollercoaster, Mind over Money, Time Warped, which won the Aeon Transmission Award and the BPS’ Best Popular Science Book Award, and The Art of Rest, which was also shortlisted for the latter and was picked for Waterstones Non-Fiction Book of the Month.

  2. A book everybody should read. . Being kind to someone will often make that person’s day,and will make the giver of that kindness a much better person.

  8. Great book. Listened to the audio version in the car with my sister. Claudia is an excellent reader so it was even more enjoyable. We also went to hear Claudia speak in Frome which was lovely. Made us think about looking out for kindness in all places.
    The Art of Rest also by CH is also excellent.

  9. This sounds like a great book which I shall definitely get. More kindness is needed in this world of today to make it bearable to live.
