Synopsis
Claudia Hammond takes us on an eye-opening tour of kindness: what constitutes kindness (it’s not what you think), effective strategies to build more of it into our lives and the benefits of being kind. She draws on the latest research from psychology and neuroscience, and her work in collaboration with the University of Sussex and the BBC, including the largest global survey ever undertaken into attitudes to kindness. The book is structured around the seven keys of kindness.

Brilliant. A must read.
A book everybody should read. . Being kind to someone will often make that person’s day,and will make the giver of that kindness a much better person.
A comprehensive finding based on an extensive academic survey.
A remarkable book that makes you question your actions, and if everyone read it the world would be a better place. It also made me laugh out loud.
Kinda like it!
Since reading this book I notice all the kindness. There is a lot of kindness everywhere.
Love this book. It’s had such a big impact too in helping people to see the value of kindness for everyone in society
Great book. Listened to the audio version in the car with my sister. Claudia is an excellent reader so it was even more enjoyable. We also went to hear Claudia speak in Frome which was lovely. Made us think about looking out for kindness in all places.
The Art of Rest also by CH is also excellent.
This sounds like a great book which I shall definitely get. More kindness is needed in this world of today to make it bearable to live.
