Synopsis
16-year-old Ocean Daley needs to get away from school, his seaside town and wasting his summer working for his mother’s irritating boyfriend. When his mysterious Uncle Frank offers him a place at a summer school for a select group of gifted teens, he jumps at it.
Author's Bio
Chris grew up in Great Missenden, where the rule is that you must become obsessed with Roald Dahl. He met Dahl at the tender age of five, who begrudgingly assented to sign a copy of the Giraffe, the Pelly and Me, which Chris still treasures. The writing seed was planted.
Reviews
“An enjoyable read and if you liked Charlie Higson’s Young Bond series or indeed “The Maze” or “The Hunger Games” then I do not believe you will be disappointed. The ending certainly sets up the probability of a sequel for which I certainly will look out for.”

An exciting, page-turner of a story, containing well drawn characters and played out in real, recognisable locations. Chris Hannon’s work deserves to be rewarded. We are always looking for books that our grandkids might like, this is up there with anything published by today’s popular authors of children’s fiction.
